We have received confirmation from the League that Matt Del Signore will be swimming the 15-18 men's 50-meter backstroke at All-Stars on Saturday at the Annandale pool. Kia Morawetz will be swimming the 9-10 girls 50-meter freestyle, and both Kia and Matt still have a shot at swimming a second stroke (backstroke for Kia, fly for Matt) if other swimmers drop out between now and Saturday.

The details regarding All-Stars are on the NVSL site (http://nvsl.nvblu.com) under "Documents", "Individual All-Stars". If you are thinking about going to cheer on the Lazers, here are the basics:

Times: The meet starts with at 9am with individual medleys. The earliest start time for freestyle is 10am, and the earliest start time for backstroke is 11am.

Location/Parking: Annandale Pool is at 7530 Little River Turnpike, behind the Wendy's. It is the same pool we went to for IM Carnival on July 22. However, parking at the pool will be reserved for meet officials. The rest of us will need to park at the Wells Fargo office building complex (just west of the pool at 7620 Little River Tpke) or behind the McDonald's at 7600 Little River Tpke, both of which are best entered from the access road that runs just north of Little River Turnpike.
