We are very pleased to announce that we have hired an Assistant Coach, Kay Foley, to help Coach Catherine lead the team, and we are excited at her abilities and experience. Kay is currently a graduate student at Georgetown University, but she grew up swimming in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She went on to swim at Harvard, rising to team captain in her senior year, and subsequently has coached at DMV Swims, the DC Aquatics Club, and as a volunteer assistant with the Georgetown University Swim Team. A picture is attached. (The cat's name is Jackie O.) We think we now have a great team in place to lead the swim team (although we may have one more announcement coming about the leadership of the team).

However, we still need to fill out our staff for Lane Coaches. 15 to 18 year old Lazers will have an opportunity to interview for a Lane Coach position for this summer. We will be conducting the interviews with Head Coach Catherine Kennedy at LPRC on Saturday, May 4th, between 10:30 AM and 2 PM.
