The summary: Winter swim will be held same time and place as last year: 4PM-5PM Saturdays at Audrey Moore Rec Center, Sept. 28th through May 16th. Coaches Catherine, Kay, and Leana will all be coaching, along with some other familiar faces as lane coaches. YOU CAN REGISTER AT THIS LINK RIGHT NOW! And please do, for 2 reasons: 1. We have a TON of interest, and I may be able to get more lanes if we have enough registrations early; 2. We have to pay for the lanes up front, so registrations help pay for this and other late-season expenses. Cost is the same as before, $300 for the first swimmer, $275 for the second, and $250 for all additional swimmers. Further blah blah: Winter swim is a critical component to our continued development as a team, and also heavy winter swim participation will be a powerful argument in favor of moving our team up to Division 16. (I'm going to send out an email tomorrow about how to continue helping us make the argument for us to move up, but it includes participating in our winter swim program or a year round program and RECRUITING!) I am trying to find a weekday night for us, but have been unable so far to find lanes. I would count only on Saturday at this point. Please let me know if you have interest in a mid-week night and I will try to find lanes, but at the moment, they all seem taken by year round and high school programs.
