Hi everyone,

Quick note with 3 important items:

1. We had a semi-successful transitional team assessment on Tuesday but, unfortunately, it was freezing. By next weekend this will no longer be the case. Therefore, the next assessment of whether kids are Little Lazers or transitional team will be June 4th at the pool at 10AM. (This is during adult morning swim, so we'll have to be low impact and get out of there as quickly as possible.) Please, unless you've talked to me or our Head Coach, don't come to practice as transitional or a full Lazer until you have this assessment. And apologies that we're not having it during this week, but we decided it wouldn't be safe: our team is so big that having practice while sharing the pool is incompatible with also running assessments.
2. Remember, the carwash is also June 4th at Braddock Baptist Church (corner of Montrose and Braddock) 9AM-noon. Here is a sign up for volunteers and supplies; please sign up ASAP. Remember, we need kids to wash cars and adults to wrangle kids and cars. Also, bring your car to get washed! This is our biggest fundraiser. Email Tracy Leaman with questions.
3. Someone accidentally bought an extra team suit on Tuesday and would like to sell it to someone else - it has not been warn, still in the packaging with its tags. It's a girl's size 28. Please contact me if you're interested and I'll connect you with the seller.
