    2022 Division 15 Relay Carnival

    Good evening Lazer Parents

All ribbons from all meets thus far are in the Ribbon Binders.  Kathryn Law has graciously volunteered to help me distribute the ribbons.  She is at the pool far more often than I am and knows the practice schedule.  If you see her there, she likely has the ribbon binders and can give you your family's ribbons.  BIG THANKS to Kathryn!!

Quick notes about last night's Relay Carnival:

    • Official results are being held by NVSL until the teams have been selected for participation in All Star Relays.  The selection meeting is tonight (Thursday, 7 July)
    • The relays were very exciting.  Watching our swimmers try their best during every single lap of every single race was awesome.
    • I worked in the data section, watching our team scores go up and up.  We moved between 2nd & 3rd place all evening, ultimately finishing in 3rd place.
    • Without seeing the results, I can only summarize that more than half of our relay teams placed 2nd or 3rd against fierce competition.
    • We were the ONLY Team that had ZERO Disqualifications during the meet.
    • I'm so happy to be a LAZER Parent.  Our kids have the best attitude, are the most friendly, and believe in good sportsmanship even if swimmers from another team don't show the same.  Best of all, I'm pretty sure we have the largest parking lot in the entire NVSL.  How great it is to not have to park blocks away then hike to the pool whether the pool is packed or empty!

    GO LAZERS!!!

I will let ya'll know when the results have been posted to the NVSL Website and to Swimtopia.
