Lazers Getting Closer but Still Seeking 1st Win

Soooo Close! The Lazers were edged out by 13 points this week against the Burke Station Destroyers. Although this is a tough loss, we are in it to "Earn It" and will continue to strive for our first team win. Not to worry, there were plenty of Personal Bests to be found at Burke Station - 46 to be exact! Lazers continue to improve - 14 in Freestyle, 10 in Backstroke, 10 in Breastroke and 12 in Butterfly! A special shout out to Lucas Wuhrer who surpassed the All Star cut time with 18.12 in the Boys 8&under 25 Free and Rachel Hinkley who swam up in all her events and helped score the team 11 points! Also, the race of the week goes to the Boys 13-14 50 Free with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd being separated by 1/100th of a second - way to go Bailey and Jordan! We did have 36 empty lanes that lost us opportunities to score so please prioritize the meets if you can to help us get our first win!

We must know if your swimmer will be here for Wednesday's relay carnival at Lincolnia Park by Sunday at 3pm. Please go to the website now, click HERE! and select "Attending or Not Attending"  for the meet. We need 4 kids in each age group to make a relay. There will be a freestyle and medley relay in each age group. This meet is a huge fundraiser for our team. Even if your child doesn't swim come cheer, eat dinner at our snack bar or even sign up to help us set up, work the snack bar and clean up. Menchies will be there selling Frozen Yogurt!  While you are there let us know about Monday and Saturday meets as well! Every Lazer counts!
