Although our record doesn't show it, the Lazers are just getting better. At Week 4, we had 41 Personal Bests set dropping 94 seconds as a team not counting relays. We had the fewest DQ's we have had yet - so we are swimming more technically. We had 2 swimmers swim their first A Meets this year - Kathryn and Molly - Welcome! Lucas is competing for an All Star Spot in 8&Under Boys 25 Free and 25 Fly. We sent 4 Relay Teams to the Relay Championship Meet this year - the most ever. Congratulations 9-10 boys Abraham, Riley, Will and Evan for placing 3rd in the 100 Medley Relay with a time of 1:26.11; 11-12 Girls Paige, Sophia, Kia and Sydney for placing 5th in the 100 Free Relay with a time of 1:03.31; the 13-14 Boys Jorday, Danny, Bailey and Andrew for placing 4th in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 2:10.49 and 5th in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 2:41.64.  The reason we are not winning meets is not because we aren't fast. It is because we average over 30 empty lanes every meet. So plan now for your August vacation next year and be in town to help the Lazers win in June and July!
