Wow! If you were not at the meet today, you missed out. The LP Lazer families hosted an amazing meet. The pool set up and clean up went flawlessly and our snack bar delighted all who visited it. We honored our Seniors - Trevor, Jasmine, Kendall and Alyssa. From the pep rally to the first cheers to the last race, the Lazers were in it to EARN IT. 35 Personal Bests were set with our fewest DQ's ever! We had our highest swimmer attendence and we won! By. 5. Points. It went down to the last 2 races. If we won one of them, we win. If we didn't they did. What eveyone needs to understand is that it was everything that happened before those two races that gave us the win! The awesome coaching, the great practices, the parents volunteering so that we could have a meet, the cheers and the encouragement for our Mini and Little Lazers - all of us EARNED THIS WIN. The celebration continued with the Yozgat's spoiling us rotten with an amazing Team lunch and the coaches presenting the Theme Song Paper Plate Awards. It was a glorious day to be a Lazer. I couldn't be more proud. Or hoarse.
