Lazers win Division 16 Sportsmanship Award!
Despite our record, the Lazers won what really counts, the coveted 2014 Division 16 Sportsmanship Award. This is awarded by each division team submitting 3 votes by the 13&up swimmers, coaches and team reps. To win this award is the definition of what being a Lazer is - the coaches, swimmers and parents "Earning IT" week in and week out for all the teams to see. Well done!
The first ever Mini Meet for our Mini and Little Lazers run by our coaches and swimmers was a huge success! From Ref and starter to clerk of course, team rep, timers, marshall, swimmer assistants and snack bar, those kids ran a great meet! Immediately following the meet, we had a grand time at the Mini Little Lazers Awards banquet at Flippin Pizza! Congratulations to Annabelle, Zoe, Megan, Grant and Isaac for graduating to Lazer Land!

Our team is obviously just getting better. We highly encourage everyone who is able to sign up for Winter Swim to keep the momentum going. We partner with Forrest Hollow from 7-8 pm on Sunday nights September-May at Audrey Moore Rec Center for $285/swimmer and we might be even providing one of our coaches to help! You have to be able to swim 25m unassisted and be OK in deeper lanes. Spots are limited and I highly encourage you to sign up before this week ends HERE!
Also, in an effort to take off running next season, if you would be willing to help with Coordinating any of the following: Mini/Little Lazers, Pep Rallies, or Merchandise - email me at [email protected]. Thanks!

Thank you for the generous gift card - I plan to wine and dine my swim team rep widow (Andrew) with a night out on the town! You guys make my job fun - thank you for all of the support. Remember to plan your vacation for August next year and start recruiting friends now because the more kids the better! See you next year!
