Banquet sign up! Team picture tomorrow! Set up for the meet tomorrow at 8PM! Next week IM Carnival and Little Lazers Meet!
Hi everyone,
Several important announcements as we move towards the finish line of this season. Please read the entire email:
- TEAM BANQUET SIGN UP! It is time for the favorite activity of the year, our Lazers Banquet (July 20th, the evening after Divisionals, at the pool, 5:30PM-8:30(ish)PM) to celebrate our swimmer's commitment and accomplishments and this amazing season. Please RSVP here for your (immediate family only - we are very tight on space) and to help or bring something please. We REALLY need all the volunteers listed on that sheet, but in particular we need a coordinator for the entire banquet. Kate and I need this off our plate. We've already arranged for catering, so the main activity is coordinating setting up and cleaning up after. Please note: this is for the big kid team and transitional swimmers; we handle Little Lazers the night of the mini-meet (see below), although they can attend if they are siblings of big kid or transitional swimmers. We need a headcount absolutely no later than July 17th, so please RSVP soon!
- Our final home meet is Saturday, the list of swimmers and volunteers will come out soon, but please remember that we need to set up Friday night starting at 8PM. We've had good attendance at set up before home meets and so we've generally finished in half an hour to 45 minutes. Please make time to help us again! The weather looks dreary on Friday, which actually helps set up because usually on a rainy day there are fewer/no people in our way.
- Monday night is the IM Carnival at Annandale pool; Thursday evening is the Little Lazers meet. Details on both those events will come out separately, but be aware for scheduling purposes.
- Finally, if you or your kid(s) participated in the Bowlero event on Tuesday, please remember to pay back the pool for the cost of the event, $30/participant, either PayPal at [email protected] or Venmo at @lprcswim.
