Hi everyone,

We have a number of events over the next few weeks that alter our practice schedule, so please read this email carefully and note the changes! I also still need help with volunteers for All Star Relays (please see below).

1. Monday afternoon is a B meet at Forest Hollow Pool.
2. We have a clinic with FISH on Tuesday morning 8:30-10:30AM (NOTE DIFFERENT SCHEDULE THAN PREVIOUS CLINICS!), with 11 and older practicing 8:30-9:30 and 10 and under 9:30-10:30. They will cover freestyle as a stroke, and breakouts and finishes. Only the most advanced transitionals are ready for this clinic, so they may come to the afternoon practice on Tuesday instead. Little Lazers will happen at the normal time on Tuesday morning.
3. Relay Carnival is at Woodley Pool on Wednesday afternoon; because our entire coaching staff will be at this meet, we will not have any afternoon practices on Wednesday, Little Lazers included. You may attend the morning practice if you are able on Wednesday.
4. On July 4th, there is no practice - take the day off and celebrate our Nation's Birthday!
5. As noted before, All Star Relays is on July 9th, and the pool will close at 4PM on July 8th, and stay closed all day on the 9th. (Members may use Forest Hollow Pool during that period.) Therefore, there will be no afternoon practices on July 8th (afternoon practicers may attend that morning) and no practices at all on July 9th. Please see below for an important note about ASR volunteers!
6. We still need volunteers for All Star Relays! The Sign up Genius for All Star Relays is at this link! Please take a look and sign up for whatever you can do. Remember that these hours do count towards your work hours (normal swim team volunteering does not), so many families could take care of all their hours in one afternoon. I am about to send out the invoices for those who will owe our $100 work fee, and I always get desperate emails in mid-to-late-August asking for work hours when folks realize time is running out, so why not get the hours right now? Any unfilled positions will be shopped out to the League mid-week, so if you don't sign up soon, your chance may be gone.
7. Upcoming events: The mini-meet on July 17th (cutest event of the year); Awards Banquet on July 19th, 5:30-7:30 in the pavilion, Sign-Up Genius to follow.
