Week 2 brought rain, rain and more rain! The Lazers rose to the challenge (although some reported that the pool was like swimming in jello), posted 18 Personal Bests, beat the Springfield Tigersharks 239-128 and now sit in a 3 way tie for first at 2-0. This weekend we try to break that tie swimming the Broyhill Crest Barracudas. Thank you to the families and swimmers for swimming with smiles and making the best of our soggy situation Saturday. Our swim team got an excellent evaluation from the NVSL! Mark your calendars for July 11th Picture Day after the meet and Tuesday, July 14th 3-8pm Flippin Pizza Fundraiser organized by our Mini Littles to help the Lazers raise much needed funds for a team computer!! Flippin Pizza will give back 50% to our team for all sales from 3-8pm. Come hungry and tell your friends!!
