Our first official meet is this Saturday at Lincolnia Park. Swimmers should arrive at 7:57am for warm up. All volunteers should be there by 8:15am to help get the meet started promptly. Make sure to welcome any Parklawn Piranahs you see. Does your swimmer have National Anthem talent? Email Marissa Regni at [email protected].

Please go RIGHT NOW  to https://lprclazers.swimtopia.com/swim_meets/7065/swim_meet_entries and sign your swimmers up to swim on Saturday. Please reply if they will OR will not be there so Coach Ashley knows. Each swimmer can swim a max of 2 individual events and one relay. This is a scored meet and the Coach will determine how many events each swimmer will swim in the best interest of the team. You have until 10am Wednesday to sign them up for the meet.

Mini and Little Lazers are invited on Saturday to swim in a Lollipop/Kickboard race. Please check in with Coach Ashley around 10:45am  to see a few races before the Lollipop race and be ready to go when the individual events are done.

We complete this week with regular afternoon practices and Mini/Little Lazers Thursday 6:30-7:00. If your swimmer is at the pool during swim practice they are expected to be swimming and not hanging out. Help us enforce this. We really need leadership from our older swimmers. Next week we start Morning practices 8:30am Mini/Little, 9am 10&under and 10:15am 11&up as well as afternoon practices TWR 5:00-6:30pm all ages except Mini/Little 6:30-7:00pm.

This Friday looks busy. The End of School year bash has been moved to 2-4pm. Our final prep practice for the meet will be 4:30pm for 11&up practice, 5:30 for 10&under practice and then 6pm starts our Pasta Pep Rally where the kids will make posters and get pumped for our first meet. Last names with A-G bring pasta, H-M bring Bread and N-Z bring Salad. This event is hosted by our 10&unders(Mini and little Lazers too!). I need at least 2 families to volunteer to set up and decorate and at least 2 families to volunteer to head up clean up to make this event happen.
