Due to weather concerns we have cancelled the 5pm practice and are now cancelling the 6pm practice. While yes, the weather might clear up, we are cancelling out of an abundance of caution for our younger swimmers. It will be extremely cold and we don't want kids to freeze. :)

Coach Kathryn and the coaching staff
‘Twas the night before swim team, and all through the pool, not a swimmer was stirring, not even a coach. The practices were hung by the lanes with care in hopes that coaches would soon be on deck. The swimmers were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of…
Hi everyone,
Please see a recap of everything going on Saturday but, most critically, we have no sign ups for the carwash. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and if we don't get sign ups soon, we'll have to cancel, and that could lead to cutting back…
Dear Little Lazer Parents,
Good morning! I am sorry if this is a mostly repeat email for some, but I know that we have had a lot of people sign up for Little Lazers and swim team in the past two weeks and I wanted to make sure that everyone…
Sorry for multiple emails, but I've received a couple of questions about evaluations, so I need to clarify here. We have 2 kinds of evaluations: (1) determining whether a swimmer is a Little Lazer or Transitional swimmer or big kid team swimmer (see here for descriptions); or (2)…
Hi everyone,
Sorry for many emails, but Kate, Catherine, and I are enjoying our relative time availability this season to get things organized so the season runs smoothly. Here are the updates (and the team schedule on the website has been updated; someone was brave enough to click…
Dear Little Lazer Parents,
Sorry if you're seeing this multiple times, but our winter swim program had an exciting event over the weekend that bears repeating - they were able to meet Katie Ledecky at their regular winter swim practice (pictures attached). Our kids were asked to "accommodate an Olympian" and switch…
Hi everyone,
First, a reminder to RSVP for Pizza with the coaches May 9th, 6:30-8PM at LPRC. Whether you're new to swimming or an old hand, come meet the coaches and get tons of information about the upcoming season! We will feed you (pizza and ice cream), so we need an RSVP…
You can REGISTER your swimmer and volunteer HERE for one week or the whole season of meets and events right now. Coach needs to know if you will or won't be here to set the meets by Tuesday morning. All Lazers must use Swimtopia to be considered for meets. Thank you!
Practice will be cancelled for thunder and lightning. All registered swimmers will receive an email 1/2 hour prior to their practice if it is storming or storms are imminent. We do swim in the rain.
